Dawn Sutherland is the President of Bridge-To-Africa Connection, Inc., a non-profit 501©(3) organization that focuses on changing lives, one person at a time by building self sufficiency, education and empowerment in women and girls. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, she served as a Vice President of Finance at Xerox Corporation.

Sutherland is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, lecturer, and motivational speaker. She also consults with advocacy organizations that are committed to empowering women with practical financial, business and self reliant skills.

In her 32 year stellar career with Xerox, Sutherland provided leadership developing C-level contacts for the organization. Her financial expertise was instrumental in creating strategic business models that grew market share, increased brand awareness and yielded year over year growth. Sutherland also has broad international experience, having been an expatriate with Xerox Ltd. in England. She was commonly known throughout Xerox for managing from the heart, managing change and building teams which delivered results.

Sutherland is a member of several non-profit boards. She has served as Chairperson of the Advisory Board for African Focus Inc., an organization focused on intercultural exchange, education and economic empowerment. She also serves as an advisor for the Xerox Los Angeles Black Employees Association and is a board member of International Black Women Public Policy Institute and the International Director of R.E.S.T.O.R.E. Worldwide, Inc.

Sutherland is also active in the National Black MBA Association, National Association of Professional Women, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and other professional organizations.

An avid art collector, one of Sutherland’s passions is supporting artists from Africa. She travels extensively and has a network of artists around the globe, and produces fine art exhibitions. Another passion is mentoring young girls by empowering them with practical skills, wisdom, and knowledge.

Sutherland’s Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston College, Masters of Social Work and Masters of Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University helped prepare her for her life’s journey.     Case Management
    Depending on the subject matter of your case, a team of dedicated and specialist lawyers will be assigned to work on your case and constantly update you on the progress of your case on any medium of communication of your choice. We develop a case plan for each matter based not only on law but also on strategy.
    Billing/Invoicing
    Lump sum or percentage based fees clients are given invoices that are accompanied by a summary of actual time spent on your work and its corresponding cost.
    Value Addition
    We keep you updated on the impact of existing and proposed legislation, regulatory policies and judicial decisions on your businesses through direct communication with you or our business impact sessions and e-journals.
    Client complaints and concerns
    It is an unpardonable offence for an attorney, paralegal or an auxiliary staff to offend or mistreat you. All complaints you may have with respect to an ill treatment by a member of staff, a case attorney shall timeously address that complaint. Where you are still not satisfied, a Lead Attorney shall see to the amicable resolution of your particular complaint.
